I-SPAN'02 will be held in the financial and business district of Metro Manila,
the capital region of the Philippines. Rockwell Center is a newly developed business and
residential complex that offers security, business conveniences, leisure facilities,
entertainment and shopping centers.
Some foreign participants may have apprehension about their security in the Philippines.
Please note that the conference venue is very far from Southwestern Mindanao, where the
current conflict between extremists and government forces occurs. Makati City in Metro
Manila is safe from these perceived disturbances.
