Background:
Information and
Communications Technology (ICT) has an important role in
healthcare delivery, especially in many developing countries and communities.
The International Symposium on ICT For Health
(ICT4Health 2008) aims to provide a forum for research and information
exchange among healthcare practitioners, ICT professionals, researchers,
faculty, students and various institutions engaged in ICT and Health (academia,
government, industry, NGOs, etc.)
ICT4Health 2008 will be
held in conjunction with the 4th ONCO-MEDIA Project Meeting in
ICT4Health
2008 will also feature a Workshop
on Apoptosis and Cancer, a session on Medical
Imaging, Instrumentation and Informatics, and a Research Collaboration Forum Between the
